I just came back with my daughter from our first afternoon tea experience at Baker Street (Leicester branch). We are very familiar with their pastries and visited all 3 branches in the UK so far. Since we always enjoy going to nice places for afternoon teas, we were curious to see how it would be at Baker Street. We booked 1 day in advance and were really looking forward to it. The staff was well organised and prepared for our visit. When the 3-tier cake stand was placed onto our table, it felt like pure LUXURY. Just looking at it, put already a smile on our faces. I couldn’t resist to take multiple pictures. The food items (sandwiches as well as pastries) were all freshly made, creatively presented, diverse and just mouth-watering. When it came to choosing one macaron, it was nice that we could choose from various flavours. The coffee and the hot chocolate also tasted nicely and were presented in big cups. The nice set-up and ambience of the Café adds value to the experience too. All three staff members were very friendly throughout our visit and made sure that we were happy. Definitely recommendable! Thanks for the lovely experience.

My only go to place for cakes for any of our special events! Customer service is second to none! And the cakes are just beautiful both looks and taste wise. I am so thankful I found Baker St Cakes! We have set the standard of the best looking and best tasting cakes in the family!!!

I've had four bespoke cakes from Baker St Cakes now and every single one has been amazing. They are the best cakes I've ever tasted and Nailah has always been very helpful during the ordering process. Recently I asked them to do a 'cosmic theme' cake and I had complete trust in them to deliver another amazing cake. When I received the cake - I was blown away! Thank you for making another one of my events special. They are super talented with their cake designs and they truly deserve all of their success. Every time I share my cakes with friends and family, they are all equally amazed at the taste and presentation. We've tried a few different flavours now and they are all amazing - our favourite one is the Salted Caramel Toffee Crunch.

ordered a birthday cake and boyyy did it impress! oddly high but quirky, and presented immaculately. the cake itself impressed everybody. layers upon layers of goodness. we ordered the pistachio and rose. 😋 driving the cake home (20min drive) was quite the challenge. I truly tested my suspension and agility to ensure the open box cake was preserved. do not collect the cake on your own!

I’d stay far away from this place if you have any propensity towards beautiful confectionary that tastes as good as it looks. The Francis street store has a stunning aesthetic that makes excellent use of space and light. Tastefully decorated with flowers and an incredibly neat display that will satisfy any OCD tendencies, I found myself wanting to spend more time just taking it all in and trying more and more of the offerings. The staff are pleasant, knowledgable, and very accommodating in offering advice from the picturesque selection of delectable goodies. The macarons are the best I’ve ever tasted. I did a side by side with Laduree and bakerst are miles ahead. Finally pulled the trigger on a custom cake for my small ones birthday. My hesitation with all of these cakes is that they look good but are plastered with fondant and just taste horrible. Certainly not the case with bakerst. The cake was the centrepiece of the show and even though We had it the next day was moist, soft, and absolutely delicious. The cream was nothing short of perfect and complimented the chocolate sponge like hot chocolate and marshmallows. Unbelievable Can’t recommend this place enough!
