We found three amazing books. We spent over an hour in the shop and did not feel uncomfortable as the staff were friendly. Good central location with rare finds. We were also recommended a halal Egyptian restaurant nearby by the shop keeper and suffice to say it was a good recommendation.

I visited this shop on Tuesday with a list of books to buy. I managed to obtain most of them. I bought a prayer mat for £7 as well. The lady was very nice and asked me when I converted to Islam. When I replied that I hadn't yet, she told me that they do conversion ceremonies downstairs with the imam, with the certificate provided for free as well. That's great news for potential converts/reverts, as they don't have to wait for the Mosques to fully reopen in order to do the ceremony. I'll definitely visit them again.

I could live here. This is an amazing store with such a wide selection of books. If you're interested in Islamic literature this is the place to go. The selection of books also covers literature not directly about Islam but related to it, which again adds depth. The top floor is mainly English books and the basement is a mix of books in English and Arabic, amongst other things.

My 5-year-old son led us into this shop. With a lot of determination, aim and dedication. He said he was looking for a very special book that is ancient. The shop keepers were very friendly, accepting and patient with him rummaging through the bookshelves. One man said: "He is guided by his heart and we will all listen to it." I found that magical and so did the shop keepers. We ended up buying a Quran and a children's book.

A hidden gem in London. You can find any Islamic book and more. The owner is also very helpful and kind.
