Funeral Services

Affordable, spacious and caters for a variety of events. Decent car park. I like the double staircases that lead up to main hall. I also like the traditional architecture of the building. Large foyer. Toilet areas are fairly clean and spacious for guests with large mirrors.

The place was nice and the staff were without fault. I went to a pantomime here but the reason for my rating is no heating. Everyone sat there shivering and the people I spoke to afterwards said they were painfully cold. I'd give it 5 stars if they turn the heating on! A small issue but goes a long way especially in this climate

I Pray no one has the experience we had at our beloved mother's funeral .
The entire proceedings were disorganised from beginning to end, with no concept of the importance of time keeping.
After many hours wait and numerous phone calls my mother's body was finally collected from our house. Only one person came, where the norm is minimum of 2 people are required for the removal.
The khusal time was given and when we turned up the following morning the masjid remained closed for several hours. When the GANG of ladies finally arrived to perform the ghusal they were disrespectful with non stop talking and had to be reminded to focus on the bathing. VERY DISTURBING TO WITNESS. No consideration for the deceased or the bereaved.
A lot of relatives came from abroad and from different parts of UK. No consideration was given to people who had to travel long distance to get home following the funeral.
The coffin provided was not clean and the ambulance carrying our mother to the burial Ground Was littered with miscellaneous items inside . It is a wonder there was room for rhe coffin . Thoba Thoba.
The Janaza prayers were hurried and left much to be desired. On top of that a random lady unknown to anyone including the mosque proceeded to lecture everyone on an equally random topic. She had to be told to leave when she refused to stop.
No management intervention.
Other funeral services i have attended have been a comfort to everyone.
I have heard many horror stories from people with similar experience as ours if not worse about funeral services at this mosque.
Please familiarise yourself with the mosques workings in this area so no one else has to experience such treatment at a time when one is already suffering pain.

Beautiful Masjid for the sisters. Amazingly 3 floors for the sisters to pray. Loads of space especially during Taraweh. I had a lovely time here. And the African sister that took good care of us and everything. She was amazing. My Allah SWT reward her and the other sisters for all of their efforts. In shaa Allah Bismillah I will be there soon.

One of the best Peaceful Cemetery I have seen and visited. Even the Pigeons are well behaved here Subhanallah.

Summer time visit - it is a place to reminiscence about the good times you shared with those loved ones who are buried here.

After many years of research I was finally able to locate where my Dad was placed to rest. Since then I have been visiting on a regular basis. This cemetery is very peaceful and beautiful.

Patrick the caretaker is very helpful and I appreciate all the work he does at keeping it well maintained. He also has a book full of names of the people who have been left there to rest in peace. Its unfortunate so many graves are neglected, so I hope this will help others find their loved ones. 💖

Very clean, peaceful and has easy carparking, there's a toilet and ablution area also a quiet room which can be used to pray.The chap who looks after the place Patrick is very good,he's also the person to see if you'd like a headstones made etc.

This is always a clean and peaceful cemetery. Very muddy in the wet winter periods. Always bring a bag to cover your shoes with. There is water facility and bins to dispose of bags. 24-hour access to the cemetery. The undertaker does his job manually without the aid of digging machine facilities. Gravesites are expected to last for at least a 60 year cycle.
Watch out for the gyppo at the wrong entrance prior. The council should really put a camera on that road so that no rubbish is being dumped on the road to the cemetery. It can get a bit tight at times with all the fly tippers dumping rubbish on the roadway.

It used to be beautiful, tranquil and well maintained. It's a disgrace now, with tall weeds all over and zero maintenance. Very sad for those who saved their money thinking theu would rest peacefully in a beautiful environment

I have always found this to be a very beautiful cemetery site nicely set back from the road. I like how it seams small but very neat and they seam to try to keep it tidy.

Mum parents were laid to rest in this cemetery  in 2005/2006.  We chose this cemetery because it was well kept and very peaceful.  But in recent years the cemetery has declined  drastically and it is a shadow of what it once was.

The Resting Grounds have been on a downward spiral since being sold... a bad service from the management team, who are not keeping to their given words.  the Cemetery has been left to fall into disrepair and looks very untidy.

Bought plot for my father 30 years ago for I think about £2000. While I like the cemetery, it's upkeep leaves a lot to be desired. Grave diggers dug  grave too small so my dad's coffin  was upended. My family wanted to lynch the diggers. Maybe find better spot if u want to Bury Yr loved ones?

The overall standard of care have really gone south since Maurice the old manager retired. The toilets are a disgrace always flooded broken seat in one no seat in the other.The general upkeep leaves a lot to be desired.With groundsmen driving over graves.Or when digging a new grave often leaving the earth removed on another grave.

Beautiful graveyard and chapel.  Plenty of parking along the road leading to the chapel.  Seems  a fitting place to say goodbye to loved ones.

Unfortunatly the grass was over a meter high and i couldnt reach the grave to place flowers. The stones near the chapel on the floor are broken due to cars driving over them, some stones contain ashes and barnet council have done nothing to rectify it despite complaints. Was a nice cemetary but slowly going downhill due to lack of caqpe and maintenance.
